About Me and the Cats
I’m Jess, 15 years old and currently in Year 10 at Fleetwood High School. My favourite sport is gymnastics but I love to play badminton with my friends sometimes too. My favourite animals are cats and I currently have 2 cats, named Xena and Dio (who are a little crazy!). Another thing I enjoy doing is baking: I often bake sweet treats including cookies, cakes, brownies and many more things.
Textiles
Textiles is one of the GCSE options I picked in year 9 that I have been doing this year in year 10 and will continue to do in year 11. My first project was based on the theme of bugs and insects so I mainly based it around butterflies and used a purple colour scheme. Recently, I began my second project on the topic of vegetation, which I chose to go down the route of flowers and plants. For this, the colour scheme I picked was pale pink and green, similar to theme flowers. This subject takes up a lot of my spare time, but I would say it is worth it because of the pretty sketchbooks and the fact that it is quite fun to do if I am in the right mood for it.
